ABOUT OUR BACKGROUND

The company was founded in 1997 by Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Kallarackal (Jacob & Rose). During the past eight years, JRCaterers has become a highly responsive, full service catering company in the greater Washington metropolitan area. The facilities are located at the Germantown Campus of the Montgomery College.  

Rose is the President and Jacob is the Operations Manager. Our office and our operating facilities are located at 20200 Observation Drive, Germantown, Maryland 20876. JR Caterers has been the contractor for operating the Montgomery College Cafeteria at the Germantown and Takoma Park Campuses, as well as a limited cafe service at the Health Science Center in Takoma Park.  Our eMail address is jrcaterers@msn.com for the general customers.  

Jacob has been in the Food Service Industry for over 35 years. He was the Director of Food & Beverage at the Sheraton and Holiday Inn. His previous experience at reputable hotels such as Hilton, Marriott , Sheraton and Holiday Inn has enabled him to manage JRCaterers in style. Jacob's experience in American Cuisine coupled with Rose 's experience in Indian Cuisine along with the expertise of their associates from different countries enables JRCaterers to provide food of your choice.

JRCaterers have already made a positive impact in their performance of catering events around the Washington area.  In addition to wedding receptions and other elaborate functions, we regularly supply Corporate Lunches to many local Businesses.
